it's hard to believe, but i'm typing this post on an airplane! mark and i are flying to california for a long weekend, so i'm taking advantage of the flight time to work a bit. today's blog features the projects for the stone family. client leslie contacted me months ago, her family was moving to waxhaw from atlanta, and she needed help with the entire house. not to mention, she was also pregnant with their third child!
i put together a master plan for the house, and now it's the implementation phase. the family moved into their new home last month, and the install for phase one is next week. take a look at all the goodies in store; the palette is mostly shades of blue and green, except for the dining room where we took a departure...
i love changing things up a bit in dining rooms. since you don't spend as much time in them, it's a great opportunity to go bold. i'm crazy for this bright and bold stripe from robert allen. the jade gives the room some serious zing that is picked up in the graphic rug; a little pink never hurt anything either!
i'm really looking forward to the installs of these rooms, stay tuned for pics! design swell. live well.
design is a way of life.
