client deanna first contacted me after seeing the blog post on my master bedroom. she wanted an upholstered headboard, so we exchanged emails and her new headboard will be ready next week! she and her husband are moving into a new house and wanted my help on the dining room and bonus room.
they are young and fun, and when she said she loved purple and blue, i immediately thought of a new fabric i've completely fallen in love with. i've been waiting for the perfect client for this, it's bold and completely stunning. it's going to be the panel fabric in the miller's new dining room...
with this amazing jumping off point, the rest of the design just fell into place...
deanna had found these dining chairs she wanted to use. i suggested we recover the seat cushions to add more interest, and add upholstered host chairs to add softness.
to stretch the budget, i used my go-to solution, vintage furniture. i found a great piece to use as a sideboard and it's getting a new life with benjamin moore's 'twilight magenta' lacquer. can't wait to see how it turns out!
take a look at the room now, and my concept for the space; it's not going to look anything like this after i'm finished with it!
excited to see this come together! stay tuned...
design swell. live well.
