I am totally loving this beautiful Spring weather! And there's nothing like doing an install on such a beautiful day! And not to mention doing one without any problems..
let's rewind to last Friday.........
I had everything ready for my install, the only piece that was MIA was the sectional sofa that would set the stage for the living space. My fingers were still crossed that it would miraculously show up at any minute.... I had the Jeep all loaded down and ready to go.
My client's, Rebecca & John Schmidt were expecting company for the Easter weekend and they wanted their new house to be family ready, I couldn't NOT deliver what was promised to them...
I first met the couple back at the beginning of February, they had just purchased their new home and needed help getting their house feeling like a few grown ups bought it. They left all of their mis-matched apartment furniture behind and I had a clean slate to work with.... (bonus!!) They wanted to focus on the living room & the master bedroom first.
With 2 options at hand, the couple decided to go with the more airy & calming design for the living room, which I preferred myself. And in the master, they opted for the design with a combination of blues & greens.
Here is a peek at the design boards one more time...
Back to the MIA sofa...... So, I am heading to the house to off load all the goodies, and I decide to call our receiver to let them know I am expecting a sectional at any minute and if they see it to call me ASAP...... well, to my surprise, the sofa had shown up late the day before and because they were so busy no one had a chance to call me yet... HOORAY!!!! I was so happy to hear that. John was at the house when I arrived and I told him the good news, we decided to keep it a secret from Rebecca who was out with her mom all day, I really wanted her to be surprised! And that she was...
Even with a few tweaks here and there, I love how the spaces turned out!
'"Thank you soo much for making our home beautiful! We absolutely love it!!"
What a fun couple to work with!!! I can't wait for phase 2 and to add in that needed sitting area in the master bedroom :)
