last week was a blur of installs... 4 to be exact. one of which was for my raleigh chick Amy Robinson who reached out to me via facebook. having seen my work at friend Kristi Glidewell's home, Amy has been a fan but had no idea that we travel. when she posted a comment to our FB page saying, 'I wish evaru traveled' I was quick to reply letting her know that we do! Amy is in real estate and sees the latest and greatest in homes and wasn't loving her own digs.. she jokes with her husband about either moving or decorating... I think he got on board with the latter!
the plan for phase 1 was to start at the front of the house since Amy
runs her business out of her home. the living room really needed an update and the
foyer space was not functional...
before!!!! dark and dated with no sense of style
after!!! I must admit this looks like an ad from a magazine :)
the odd foyer space was screaming for another seating area... so I decided to use a small scaled settee to fix the problem here...
before! a non functional space in the foyer.... what to do?
after!! this becomes an additional conversation area or
place to lounge and read a book
it was a long trip to raleigh but totally worth it! I think Amy and Dan are super happy with the end result. I am already getting our installer booked for phase 2! can't wait!
' I'm LOVING it!!! Everything is so beautiful- I might need to get yellow caution tape for the living room entrance to keep my boys out! Thank you so much for all your hard work. I know you put your heart and soul into this and it shows. Fabulous work, my dear!!! ' - amy robinson
