after successfully completing a major transformation to the waiting room of norwood dental clinic, dr. lassiter asked me to tackle the business office, i.e. the space behind the transaction windows that desperately needed an update. take a look...
there were old painted wood cabinets along the upper right wall, with metal file cabinets below. just look at the lovely wallpaper that was hiding beneath!
i was adamant that we add a knee wall to the far end of the space. this was necessary to block hallway noise and give more privacy for HIPAA regulations. the wall didn't make the space feel smaller, and it gave a great place for colorful artwork.
what a huge difference a few tweaks can make!
the wallpaper is my favorite element, i still think it looks like teeth, appropriate yes?
these pendants are way better than the old strip fluorescent fixtures!
they're large, graphic and play off the wallpaper perfectly.
i love that this space is now the location of daily morning 'huddles' by the staff of norwood dental clinic. dr. lassiter loved the end result, and i couldn't be happier either!
design swell. live well.
