i have to share this fabric i recently came across. stunning is the only word that comes to my mind when i look at it. i love orange and this velvet paisley on linen is super yummy and only $30 a yard! sure would make a dramatic set of drapes... i already have plans to use it on my latest project, oh lisa, you are so lucky!
a little sneak peek at the inspiration board for my latest bedroom design. i am crazy about the guitar fabric and actually selected it after finding the bedding and teal sheets. i must have a knack for choosing great color combinations because this happens more often than you'd expect!
my latest obsession is a chevron print; it's playful, sophisticated and totally timeless. can't wait to share this room very soon!
what better way to spend a snowy afternoon than working on a playroom for my two sons. this room has been our guest room, a nursery, and is now evolving into the playroom. i've been planning this space long before schafer moved out of it. now that he's sharing a room with big brother sutton, i'm ready to give them their own space to play (while keeping the rest of my house clutter free)!
i was able to get the accent wall painted, and i love how it turned out. stay tuned for the complete reveal, i plan to finish it within the week!
i'm currently working on my first themed room, a lego bedroom for 6 year old ben king. at first i wasn't sure how to tackle this. primary colors aren't typically on my radar because they are too harsh and children outgrow them too quickly. the trick is to imply lego in a modern way. here are a few inspiration pieces for the project. i've got some great ideas up my sleeve, and can't wait to share this reveal!
another fun project is wrapping up, and i wanted to share the inspiration board behind the design. a modern lounge for my best friend's two oldest sons in columbia, sc. just a few more details to complete and the room will be camera ready!
update: i finally photographed the room, check out my 'playrooms & lounges' page to see the end results. my favorite project by far!
